LOVES PARK, Ill. (Saturday, October 3rd, 2009) -- Due to the ongoing cells of precipitation that continue to populate the area, the Saturday program for the 44th annual National Short Track Championships have been postponed until tomorrow. The Sunday portion of the program will still take place tomorrow with the Saturday program pushed back until 4pm in the afternoon.

Sunday's program begins at 12:30pm as originally scheduled with the headlining Budweiser 200 for the Super Late Models. Race fans can plan on an action-packed day featuring both the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet and the headlining Super Late Models helping to combine for 590 feature laps in ONE GREAT DAY OF RACING.

Sunday tickets will be good for the opening portion of the program, beginning at 12:30pm and the grandstands will be cleared before the beginning of the Saturday program, which will get underway at 4pm. Fans can buy both tickets for $38 at the gate, while Sunday tickets are $20 and the Saturday program is $18 for the 4pm. The Sunday portion will still include the main event, the Budweiser 200, which has 42 Super Late Model entrants in the pits. The pit gate will open at 7am and qualifying will begin at 10:30am with practice getting underway at 9am.
