LOVES PARK, Ill. (Sunday, October 4th, 2009) -- 'One Great Racing Weekend' has become 'One Great Racing Day' at the Rockford Speedway, as three days of racing will be pushed into one, creating a smorgasboard of jam-packed racing action that one will rarely see the likes of again. It all gets underway with practice at 9am and Nason's Landscaping 'Faster Than A Speeding Bullet' Qualifying gets the day off to a fast start. The Sunday portion of the program will follow its original schedule and kick off the day at 12:30pm. The legendary Super Late Models, the Budweiser 200, has 42 entrants and will be headlining the event.

The Saturday portion of the program will get underway at 4pm with the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet topping the scheduled divisions with their Loves Park Motorsports 108. 40 Big 8 entries have been filed and over 200 cars are in the pits. Eight divisions will take to the track today to duke it out for the chance to be a National Short Track Champion with 590 laps of feature racing on the docket. Tickets for both programs cost just $38 and enable every racing fan to see a day of racing excitement they'll never forget!
