Loves Park, IL (May 12, 2010) Rockford Speedway and Q98.5 will give race fans the opportunity to sign the high flyin’ school bus before it makes it’s jump on Saturday May 15 at the Speedway. Fans can sign their name on the doomed school bus for a $2 donation between 5:00pm and 7:07pm Saturday night with proceeds going to St. Jude’s Research.

The School Bus will be driven by Gary Oscarson this Saturday. Oscarson was behind the wheel for last years jump as well, he successfully got the bus airborne, but crashed the bus into the motorhome he was trying to jump over. Oscarson was unharmed, but the same cannot be said for the motorhome.

Saturday night will also feature the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsman, Mtn Dew Roadrunners, Super Cups, the Sam’s Drive-In Smokey Burnouts as well as the Kids Candy Scramble on the track.
