NASCAR Hometown Night for Some Southern McHenry County Residents

Loves Park, IL (June 9, 2010) Residents of Huntley 60142, Marengo 60152 and Union 60180, Illinois can receive two for one admission at Rockford Speedway this Saturday night with proof of residency. There will be kid’s stock car rides, 4-H Ice Cream and Cow Kissing Booth at the track.

This Saturday’s racing action will include the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsman, Budweiser American Short Trackers, Mtn Dew RoadRunners, a return of the Super Cups as well as the Sam’s Drive In RoadRunner Challenge Stop ‘N Go Race.

Marengo’s very own Jerry Edge driver of the #09 and Robert Roush driver of the #72 will battle it out in the RoadRunner Challenge Stop ‘N Go Race. Edge is currently the point’s leader in the Challenge Points while Roush is 3rd in Challenge points and 2nd in Dash points.

The racing action begins at 7:07 pm, regular adult admission is $10, for children ages 11-6 admission costs $5 and children five and under are admitted free.
