Jerry Gille can now add another title to his resume, Vintage State Champion, Gille piloted the #01 1962 Chevy Impala Convertible. Sixteen of the 20 vintage machines on hand were able to take the green flag for the 50 lap feature.

Jumpin” Jack Heiman took to the flag stand once again to flag the Jessup Automotive Race of Champions, a 15 lap shoot out with seven cars. Jack known for his excitement for the sport stands before the starting field as he did for many years for Rockford Speedway.

Staged and awaiting the green flag are three young drivers, one taking time to wave to crowd on hand.

The American Super Cup Series feature was action packed with thirteen cars starting. Mick Ellis pulled ahead early to win the feature event.

From days past the famed Joe Shear #36 Chevy Camero returns to Rockford Speedway.
