ROCKFORD SPEEDWAY INTRODUCES ITS NEW WEBSITE

LOVES PARK, IL (Wednesday, March 26, 2008) – During the off-season, many race teams will be working on their cars and are getting ready to debut their new cars including a new paint scheme, body style, etc. Rockford Speedway has done this with their website and is proud to announce the debut of their revamped website.

The site is still www.rockfordspeedway.com and has been designed by speedXdesign, Inc.

“Scott Lofquist has a lot of experience with designing great websites for many tracks, series and auto racing teams,” Gregg McKarns, Rockford Speedway General Manager stated. “He has created a great site that not only shows what is happening at the track today, but also features our great history.”

The website debuted on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

The website is designed to be very fan friendly and easy to navigate. “For instance, if someone wants to learn more about one of our divisions, all they have to do is click on that division link on the bottom of the page, and they are taken right to that page. Everything they wanted to know about that division is right there,” commented McKarns. “Also, we will have the capability to update this with the latest information as soon as it is available, including race day updates (weather, special events, etc). It’s not only fan friendly, but also friendly for my staff as well.”

The 61st season of racing starts on Sunday, April 6th with the WXRX 104.9FM Stone & Double T 200-lap 4-cylinder enduro at 1 pm. The Speedway will be open on Saturday, April 5th from Noon to 4 pm for an open practice for all divisions and its annual Media Day.

The 31st Annual Spring Classic presented by Yellowbook will take place on Sunday, April 13th at 1 pm. The Big 8 Series will highlight the afternoon of racing with a 100-lap feature event. The Mid-American Series will also be contesting the high-banked quarter-mile oval in a 50-lap feature event.
