Waterford, WI, August 30 – The Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series is ready to invade the Rockford Speedway on Monday afternoon September 6 (Labor Day). The special program will feature 375 laps of racing on the high-banked ¼-mile oval starting at 1 pm. with the Midwest Enduro Small Car Series 4-cylinder division and Midwest Enduro V-6 division going non-stop with the running of the “CMW Welding 125” enduro event. The main event of 250 laps will feature the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series 8-cylinder division. The “CMW Welding 250” will begin at 2:00 sharp. A full field of competitors is expected.

CMW Welding of the Spring Grove, IL is sponsoring the afternoon’s awards presentations. Midwest Enduro Small Car Series driver Dan Chapman is the owner and representative of CMW Welding.

Currently Mark Fogel leads the point standings in the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series division over Tom Ruh, Mike Watson, Darryl Traber and Erich Iversen. Fogel has won all four events during the current season and is trying to tie the Series record of five wins set in a season by Mario Stella and Traber.

Currently Mark Johler is on top of the Midwest Enduro Small Car Series point standings with his convincing four wins in as many tries in 2010. Following Johler is Chapman, current “rookie of the year” point leader Zach Weisbacher, defending champion Leo Bujak and rookie driver Matt Skarzynski.

The Midwest Enduro V-6 Series point standings features Keith Kunze on top followed by defending champion Brad Nelson and Michael Peters.

The pit gate will open at 9:00 am. The grandstand will open at 11:00 pm. The first event will be at 1:00.
