Rockford Falls Victim to Mother Nature

Due to inclement weather that is expected to continue throughout the evening, Rockford Speedway has been forced to cancel tonight's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing program.

Racing fans that bought tickets to tonight's scheduled program should save their ticket stubs. Those ticket stubs will get fans into the next two Rockford Speedway racing programs on May 7th or May 21st.

Drivers and pit crews should save their pit passes from tonight's events and they will be good for next weekend's racing action as well as May 21st.

NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action returns to the Rockford Speedway next weekend and families can celebrate Mother’s Day in style with a full slate of action including the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Budweiser American Short Trackers, Mtn Dew RoadRunners and the American Super Cups plus the Sam’s Drive-In RoadRunner Challenge featuring the Morning Make-Up Dash. Fans can visit any Cevene Care Clinic location for a FREE Mom’s ticket to the races next Saturday night.

The gates open at 5pm and qualifying is scheduled to get underway at 6pm with the green flag waving at 7:07pm sharp.
