ALMOST TOO CLOSE TO CALL
If you missed it, you missed one of the most exciting feature finishes in over a decade. This past Saturday night, Daryl Gerke and Scott Lawver crossed the stripe less than an inch apart with Gerke recording his first ever feature triumph. Be sure to check out the photo gallery from July 28 to see the fantastic shot Jimmy A with Finishline Photos got at the finish. The final seven laps saw positions swap between Gerke, Lawver, Doug Bennett, Johnny Robinson, Justin Sellers and Brett McCoy, a blanket could have fit over their six cars over those final laps. Excitement like that can only be found at America’s Short Tracks.
