September 8, 2011 - 20 year-old Michael Bilderback just came off of what he called an "unbelievable" win at Slinger Super Speedway, his first ever Super Late Model victory. He unloaded with a pretty fast race car, took the lead in the feature around lap 30, and led until the checkered flag fell on lap 100.

Loves Park, IL- As the weekly racing season begins to wrap up at area tracks, attention is beginning to turn towards the 46th annual National Short Track Championships taking place Friday September 30 through Sunday October 2 at Rockford Speedway. Twelve divisions will make up ‘One Great Racing Weekend’. The ASA Midwest Tour Super Late Models will headline the three day race weekend as they contest a 200 lap feature event on Sunday afternoon. Top drivers including seven time NSTC winner Steve Carlson are expected to invade the high banked quarter mile. For additional information visit www.rockfordspeedway.com

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Sunday, October 3rd, 2010) – It’s a good thing he filed that race entry. A week after filing a delayed entry for the 45th annual National Short Track Championships’ main event, Brett ‘the Jet’ Sontag flew into the winner's circle at the legendary Rockford Speedway today, leading the final 178 laps of the Super Late Models ‘Budweiser 200’ to put his name in the record books alongside legends like Joe Shear, Mark Martin, and Steve Carlson.

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Saturday, October 2nd, 2010) – Two is indeed a magical number and Jon Reynolds Jr. proved it in dominating fashion tonight during the 45th National Short Track Championships at the Rockford Speedway. On the second night of competition of the three day racing extravaganza, Reynolds Jr. drove to his second Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet win of 2010, leading the final 90 laps of the ‘Hinckley Springs 108’ to take the checkers ahead of the second place Big 8 points man, James Swan, by a straightaway.
