LOVES PARK, Ill. (Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011) -- Anthony Lloyd is swiftly making a habit out of navigating to victory lane in 2011 -- the hotshoe collected his third win of the season and second on Wild Wednesday en route to the Mtn Dew RoadRunner Super Summer Series trophy after fending off a charge from Bobby Frisch. In the process, Lloyd extended his Wild Wednesday points lead to 11 markers over Frisch with just one week remaining.

In other action, Tim Dickson went wire-to-wire for the Bandits win while Tim Roach rolled to the overall Misfits victory. Ben Schaitel and Dave Cooter also snagged Misfits division wins while Mary McBride's reign atop the Winged Women on Wheels came to an end when Olivia Chance worked her way by her and held on for the checkers.

Deanna Chandler took the INEX Bandoleros trophy while Josh Thiering scored his second consecutive National Figure 8 League victory to close out the evening.

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Saturday, July 30th, 2011) -- The kid doesn't even have a driver's license; that wasn't enough to stop 15-year-old Erik Jones tonight though as the young gun survived a late restart with six circuits remaining to capture the 20th running of the JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour 'All-Star 100' presented by Stanley Steemer and wear the legendary wreath at the Rockford Speedway. With the win, Jones' first in the series, the teenager joins the growing ranks of past legends that have claimed the checkers in the 'All-Star 100' including hallowed names that seared themselves into memory like Allison, Shear, Trickle, and Martin.

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Wednesday, July 27th, 2011) -- 'Bullet' Bobby Frisch outran both Terrance Robinson and Mother Nature on Wild Wednesday at the Rockford Speedway, surviving Robinson's late race advances as inclement weather loomed close behind en route to the Mtn Dew RoadRunners Super Summer Series trophy.

With weather in the area, the racing was swift and eventful as Trevor Robinson grabbed his first career Bandits triumph while Kyle Voss claimed the Fender Division win in the Misfits feature. Young gun Cory Cootware collected the overall victory in the Misfits while Mary McBride's summer reign continued with a fourth consecutive Winged Women on Wheels checkered flag.

Deanna Chandler rolled to the INEX Bandoleros win as Josh Thiering closed out a Wednesday night full of action all over the speedway with a National Figure 8 League trophy.

Loves Park, IL- Defending Rockford Speedway All-Star 100 winner Ryan Carlson leads the list of former winners competing in this Saturday night’s Stanley Steemer All-Star 100. Carlson, the current NASCAR Late Model point leader will once again have the 2007 winner Eddie Hoffman to contend with, Carlson held off Hoffman in last season’s running by mere inches at the Checkered Flag. Minnesota transplant Trent Snyder (2008) has also filed his entry with Jeg’s CRA All-Stars Tour officials for the event. One entry that has the short track racing community buzzing is that of 1989 victor Rich Bickle. Bickle is known for his aggressive driving style that matches up to the tough Rockford Speedway quarter mile well and allowed the former National Short Track Champion to catapult his career into the upper levels of NASCAR.

Stanley Steemer All Star 100 up Next for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at Rockford Speedway Saturday

Salem, IN (July 25, 2011) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts will head to Rockford Speedway this Saturday, July 30th for the sixth event of the inaugural season for the crate motor late model series. The famed tight quarter mile located in Loves Park, Illinois has been promoted for years by the Deery family, a well know name throughout short track racing. The track has hosted numerous top late model events over the years including the Stanley Steemer All Star 100, which as seen such names as Dick Trickle, Bobby Allison, Mark Martin and Joe Shear in victory lane.

Loves Park, IL- Driver X, Jon Reynolds, Jr parlayed a second place qualifying effort into three wins Saturday night at Rockford Speedway during Klaas Financial Night, Round III of the Gilley’s Cool 5 Series. Following an impressive Stateline Staffing Services Dash victory, the third place points man captured the heat race win with a white flag pass of point leader Ryan Carlson and would then cruise to his second NASCAR Stanley Steemer feature victory in the 30 lap main event after an early battle with Tom Gille and Mitch Garfield for the lead position. Matt Lundberg returned ‘The Family Truckster’ to victory lane just one week after a spectacular backstretch incident in Bargain Hunter Sportsman action, while BJ Sparkman methodically worked his Budweiser American Short Tracker to the front and to the checkers for the fifth time this season. Howie Ware would be awarded the Mtn Dew RoadRunner feature win as 71 year old Gene Maracco remains undefeated in Sam’s Drive-In RoadRunner Drags. Jacob VanWazer was victorious in the American Super Cups, Justin Pearson topped the ten car Skid Car event.

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Friday, July 22nd, 2011) – Defending champion Ryan Carlson certainly appreciated the history associated with the ‘All-Star 100’ at Rockford Speedway after arriving in victory lane last July. Wearing the wreath just one year after a devastating accident forced him to deal with shattered vertebrae and sport a neck brace, the current Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models points leader will return in hopes of defending his title during next weekend’s 19th running of the event that has seen acclaimed victors like Dick Trickle, Mark Martin, Joe Shear, and Bobby Allison amongst others.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Vern Fagerberg, a student in Ohio Technical College's High Performance and Racing program, is in his fifth year of racing his number ‘84' limited late model stock car in the late model feature event at Rockford Speedway in Rockford, Ill. The late model feature event is run on a quarter-mile, high-banked, asphalt race track and is part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

Round number three of the Gilley’s Cool 5 Series takes center stage Saturday night July 23 at Rockford Speedway during Klaas Financial Night at Rockford Speedway. A strong field is expected in all four NASCAR divisions, Stanley Steemer Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsman, Budweiser American Short Trackers and Mtn Dew RoadRunners will be in action with the added excitement of the American Super Cups. The night will be filled with sparks as the Skid Cars make their first appearance of 2011. These are front wheel driven cars with metal skis attached to the back providing plenty of thrills and spills as they crash their way around the high banked quarter mile oval racetrack. The Sam’s Drive-In One on One RoadRunner Drags are also on the schedule.

LOVES PARK, Ill. (Saturday, July 16th, 2011) -- Jerry Gille's at it again; the two-time Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Model champion is piecing together another customary midseason surge behind a dominant fast time, an easy dash win, and a break that at the midway point of the 30-lap main event that enabled the veteran to roll to a convincing victory tonight.

After a caution at the halfway mark allowed Gille to escape lapped traffic, he zoomed to the front on the restart and got around his brother, Tom, before cruising to his third trophy of the season. The triumph slashed Jerry Gille's deficit in the points standings as the veteran continues to apply pressure to top dog Ryan Carlson.
