Adding his name to the Rockford Speedway history books is the youngest driver to capturing a season championship is Austin Nason, age 15 from Roscoe, Illinois. Austin competes in the NASCAR Bargain Hunters Sportsman division.

Present for opening ceremonies is the Illinois National Guard as they ready themselves for our nation National Anthem.

Mountain Dew Roadrunners 20 lap feature won by Terry Ciano from Janesville, Wis. Fans would see a side-by-side race for the top spot for over half of the event with Johnny Robinson II, who was making his first Roadrunner start of 2011.

Chris Jones, Rockford, Illinois raced en route to the win and the summer-long Bandits Challenge championship. Pictured with Chris are member and fans of his race team.

Deanna Chandler, Machesney Park, Illinois claimed the INEX Bandoleros 8-lap championship feature. By starting the main event, the 12-year-old Chandler clinched the championship title for 2011.

With over 20-plus trucks, vans, cars, and an assortment of other vehicles towing trailers, fans were certainly treated to a spectacular show in the main event of the evening's program, the Kar Korner World Famous Figure 8 Trailer Race used some deft maneuvers to outlasted everyone to collect the hardware for his trophy case.

A full house of race fans of all ages were treated to an evening of great racing and of couse the World Famous Figure 8 Trailer Race.
