LOVES PARK, Ill. (Wednesday, August 5, 2009) – “Chargin” Charlie Frisch did it again on Wild Wednesday tonight at the Rockford Speedway, coming from the back to the front and holding on to win the Mtn Dew RoadRunner Super Summer Series 25-lap feature while closing the gap to just 34 points off the lead of Gene Marocco with one more Wednesday night to go. Frisch brought home more hardware winning the National Figure 8 League headliner. Derek Dixon, Dwight Dunlap, Rachael Pinkerman, Robin Ulrey and Cory Cootware also collected feature victories on the evening.

Chargin' Charlie Frisch made a late-race move to take second place in the 25-lap Mtn Dew RoadRunners feature and collected the win.

LOVES PARK, IL. (Wednesday, July 15, 2009) – Chargin' Charlie Frisch made his move in the latter stages of the race to take second place in the 25-lap Mtn Dew RoadRunners feature and collected the win after Joe LaMarca was disqualified in post-race inspection tonight at the Rockford Speedway. Allen Bekielewski made a late race move, diving in front of Jake Vicencio with two laps remaining to grab the victory in the Crap Scrappers Hornets swarm. Paul Fusco, Rachael Pinkerman, Robin Ulrey, Tom Schneider and Dwight Dunlap also collected feature wins.
LOVES PARK, IL (Wednesday, July 8, 2009) - Due to constant rain at the Rockford Speedway, combined with unseasonably cool temperatures, Speedway officials have decided to cancel tonight’s Equipment Depot Petrol-Palooza Wild Wednesday program. Local radar indicated this system would not move out of the area until just after race time.
Racing action will resume this Saturday night with the Cricket Wireless Mid-Summer’s Night Scream. Wild Wednesday racing continues next Wednesday night. For more information visit www.rockfordspeedway.com.
